The first is the Surface 2 which is the successor to the previous series with base at ARM. Surface 2 uses a 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and runs on the Windows 8.1 OS. The screen is 10.1-inch Full HD Clear Type.
Microsoft also provides accessories Touch Cover 2 and Cower Power features to improve battery life up to 50 percent. Own battery is claimed to last 25 percent longer than previous generations. With a more streamlined body making it lighter, Surface 2 has a lighter color.
As for the Surface Pro 2 only changes in the sector of battery life. Tablet with Windows OS 8.1 also has improved so that the screen can display a resolution of 3840x2160. Additionally Surface Pro 2 has three USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0 and Display Port.
Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 both have increased the screen resolution to 1920x1080 pixels with more brilliant colors. Surface 2 is equipped with a 5MP main camera and 3.5 MP front camera for webcam.
Both Surface 2 will be available on the market starting October 22. Surface-based Windows RT 2 32GB for sale $ 499, while the Surface Pro 2 is available at a price of USD 899. Cover Type 2 is also present thinner and more delicate sensitivity to type sold USD 130.
